A message from our leader
To all our members and supporters,
We want to start with an apology. Since the general election, our communication and action have not met the standards we set for ourselves or what you deserve. We owe it to you to be transparent about why. After the election, we made the conscious decision to step back and reflect. We wanted to give the new Labour government a chance to lead and to assess their decisions and direction before determining our next steps.
What we’ve seen since has been nothing short of appalling. Decisions that lack foresight, broken promises, and a growing sense that the government is disconnected from the people it serves have strengthened our belief that we truly are the only hope for meaningful change.
This realisation has refocused our resolve. The Progressive Unity Party is back, stronger and more determined than ever to be the voice of reason, unity, and progress in a political landscape that feels increasingly bleak.
As we work to update our website and renew our efforts, we want to remind you of the commitments we made in our manifesto:
- Education Reform: We pledged to modernise our schools, ensure access for all, and prioritize mental health and inclusivity.
- Economic Fairness: We committed to policies that support sustainable growth and reduce inequality.
- Environmental Leadership: We promised bold action to protect our planet for future generations.
- Healthcare for All: We vowed to make healthcare accessible, empathetic, and efficient for everyone.
- Immigration: We will be tough on immigration.
- TAX: We will be pro business and will reverse the Employer NI increase imposed under labour.
- Other changes: Winter fuel allowance, child tax credit cap, defense spending.
These promises remain at the heart of who we are and what we fight for.
But we can’t do this alone. This is your movement as much as it is ours. To make real change happen, we need you—your voices, your support, your belief in a better way forward. Here’s how you can help:
- Spread the Word: Share our social media pages and invite others to join the conversation.
- Engage with Us: Ask questions, share your concerns, and tell us what matters most to you.
- Get Involved: Whether it’s volunteering, standing as a candidate, or simply engaging in dialogue, your participation is vital.
The Progressive Unity Party is more than a political organisation—it’s a commitment to creating a future we can all believe in. Together, we can prove that politics can work for the people and restore faith in a system that serves everyone.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and your unwavering belief in a better future. Let’s move forward, together.
